
Jeff Gurganus is (k)RPG’s Chief Financial Officer and oversees the firm’s financial, operational, and administrative functions.
Jeff joined (k)RPG in 2019, having spent the prior eight years at K2M, Inc., a global medical device company now part of Stryker Corporation. While at K2M, he served in a number of capacities including Vice President, Finance and Treasury, where he led the company’s corporate finance, treasury, strategy, risk, and business development efforts. In addition, he was part of the leadership team which completed the company’s $132M IPO in May 2014 and $1.4B merger with Stryker in November 2018.
Prior to K2M, he served as both a Principal and Senior Engagement Manager at Blue Ridge Partners, a boutique management consulting firm, where he helped early-stage, development-stage, and Fortune 500 companies accelerate revenue growth and increase profitability. Jeff has also held a number of senior level in-house corporate finance positions and management consulting roles, where he focused on the technology/media/telecommunications, healthcare, and financial services industries.
Jeff’s areas of expertise include capital financing, IPOs, FP&A, budgeting and reporting, treasury and cash management, order-to-cash processes, AR/credit/collections, risk management, strategic planning, M&A, and business development. In addition, he is adept at analyzing complex business situations and leading cross-functional teams to drive business expansion, process optimization, and change management.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, a Master of Arts degree from the Elliott School of Foreign Affairs at The George Washington University, and a Master of Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
He currently resides with his two daughters in Bethesda, Maryland where he spends much of his free time coaching his daughters’ soccer and basketball teams and enjoys hiking and travelling.
